Pricing

Pay as you go from a prepaid NOK wallet. Each metered company-data read costs 50 øre, there is no subscription to choose, and rate limits that rise with your lifetime top-ups are coming.

The wallet

Per metered company read
50 øre (NOK 0.50)
Top-up per transaction
NOK 50 to NOK 10,000
Credit expiry
12 months after purchase

You top up a balance in advance, and each metered company-data read draws 50 øre from it, the exact price the credit meter charges and the keyless pricing endpoint advertises. Unused credits stay on your account until they expire 12 months after the purchase date. Company search and your own audit trail are not metered.

Prices are the total amount charged — no VAT (MVA) is added, because the seller is not registered in the Norwegian VAT register (Merverdiavgiftsregisteret).

Database: Stockholm. Compute: Vercel EU edge. Full EU backend: in progress. Full posture on /trust.

Machine-readable pricing: /pricing.json and /api/v1/pricing (keyless per-call price list for every metered endpoint and MCP tool).

Rate limits by top-ups: coming

These levels are not switched on yet. Until they are, a wallet account has the limits of the first row and an existing subscription keeps its own limits. Once they are on, your level will be set by your lifetime top-ups: everything you have topped up, minus any refunded top-up. Promotional or manual credits will not count.

Coming, and existing subscriptions

  • Annual Accounts Monitor is coming for wallet accounts, charged per monitored company per month from the wallet. Current Professional subscribers keep it to the end of their billing period.
  • Agent payment rails are coming: agents will be able to top up a wallet on their own. The agent payments guide covers the loop that works today: discover prices, handle the 402, top up, then retry.
  • Existing subscriptions keep their rate limits until the end of their current billing period. No new subscriptions are sold; after the period ends, your account has the limits of the first level until the top-up levels are switched on.

Free without a key

The sandbox, the discovery files and these public endpoints need no key and no signup. They are cacheable and never counted against your per-key rate limits. An IP-level soft limit of 1000 requests per minute applies instead, so the discovery surfaces stay fast for everyone.

FAQ

How does pricing work?
Apier is pay as you go from a prepaid NOK wallet. You top up from NOK 50 to NOK 10,000 at a time, and each metered company-data read draws 50 øre (NOK 0.50) from the balance. There is no subscription to choose. Unused credits expire 12 months after the purchase date.
Is there free or no-signup access?
Yes. The sandbox, the discovery files and the free public endpoints need no key and no signup; the public endpoints carry a soft IP-level limit of 1000 requests per minute. Company-data endpoints need an API key, so that rate limits and the audit trail are attributed to your account.
How do rate limits work?
Rate limits that rise with your lifetime top-ups are coming. Until they are switched on, a wallet account has the limits of the first level and an existing subscription keeps its own limits. Once they are on, the levels count the total you have topped up minus any refunded top-up: from NOK 0 of lifetime top-ups, 30 requests per minute on company data; from NOK 500 of lifetime top-ups, 150 requests per minute on company data; from NOK 5,000 of lifetime top-ups, 300 requests per minute on company data. Promotional or manual credits will not count toward a level.
I have a subscription. What happens to it?
No new subscriptions are sold. An existing subscription keeps its rate limits, and on Professional the Annual Accounts Monitor, until the end of its current billing period. After that your account has the limits of the first level until the top-up levels are switched on. Your wallet balance is separate and is not touched.
